Callout to organizations and individuals to support Teens, youth, women and the economically vulnerable and disadvantaged
The Teenagers Growing Businesses Club (TGBC) platform serves as a channel for sustainable wealth creation amongst teeming youth as well as a catalyst for a paradigm shift in the mind-set of teens that inspires them to be job creators rather than job seekers. TGBC’s activities have impacted well over 300 teenagers directly and at least 1,200 indirectly, with a focus on skill acquisition and business development.
Business Development Incubation Program (BDIP)
The BDIP is a more focused and goal-oriented program, that aims not only to inspire youth to want to become young entrepreneurs but concretely guides teenagers through the process and then viable business ideas are granted access to finance. It is a 2-week intensive program where participants will be provided with business advisory and support services where necessary to ensure they are able to achieve their dream of setting up a business.
45.4% of women in rural Nigeria do not have direct access to income but to the goods and services provided for them by male heads of household. GBF has over the years turned an incredibly large number of them into self-sustained entrepreneurs.
