An executive trustee of Growing Businesses Foundation and senior partner with Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, Dr. Myma Adwowa Belo-Osagie, has been elected as an honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences’ 2018 Class of new Fellows and International Honorary Members.
Founded in 1780, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences is one of America’s oldest learned societies and independent policy research centers, convening leaders from the academic, business, and government sectors to respond to the challenges facing—and opportunities available to—the nation and the world.
Members contribute to Academy publications and studies in science, engineering, and technology policy; global security and international affairs; the humanities, arts, and education; and American institutions and the public good.
Dr. Belo-Osagie has been a Non-executive director at Africa Opportunity Fund Ltd. since June 2007. Dr. Belo-Osagie serves as a Director of First Securities Discount House Limited. She is a member of the New York, Ghana and Nigeria Bars and is a member of the American Bar Association
Dr Belo-Osagie will join other 2018 honourees, including Barack Obama and various civic, business and philanthropic leaders, scholars, scientists, writers and artists who have been elected.
