PSAG Recognition Initiative Selects Dr Ndidi among 40 Leading Ladies driving the SDGs in Nigeria

With the thrust of the initiative being the Agenda 2030 tagline “Leave no one behind” and PSAG’s goal to engender inclusivity and women empowerment, GBF’s founder Dr Ndidi Nnoli has been selected as one of the Forty Leading Ladies (FLL) driving the SDGs in Nigeria in their recent report on November 25, 2020.

The PSAG (Private sector advisory group) brings together international leaders of the private sector whose shared goal is to help developing countries improve their corporate governance. It includes key 13 key partners who share a commitment in achieving the 17 SDGs and an interest in corporate social responsibility. They include: Growing Businesses foundation (GBF), Lagos Business School (LBS), Sahara Group Limited, British American Tobacco Nigeria (BATN), Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd. (PwC), Google, Unilever Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, GT Bank, General Electric (GE), Dangote Group, Coco-Cola, Channels Television, Chamber of Commerce- Lagos/Kano, National Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) and NASME. As the work progresses, the number of organizations that make up this group is also expected to grow. A few companies have now stepped up and continue to build ownership and viable projects around the SDGs.
